Organic Farm Jobs at Aspen Moon
Looking for Diverse, Hard-Working Individuals to Join Our Team
Come to Aspen Moon Farm and practice regenerative agriculture. We are USDA certified Organic and have been using biodynamic practices since 2009. We grow a variety of produce, flowers, berries, and starter plants for the local community. We have positions open for experienced farmers as well as people looking to learn through work how to farm biodynamically and Organically. Work with a great team on a diversified Organic vegetable farm growing: an abundance of high-quality, nutritious produce to feed the people; gorgeous, pollinator-friendly fresh flowers to spread joy to people's homes; and starter plants for healthy gardens throughout the community. Throughout the season: we attend two weekly Farmers Markets; operate a large CSA and roadside Farm Stand; supply some wholesale to local school districts, food hubs, restaurants, etc; and donate loads to food access programs.
Why work on a production farm? We produce a lot and it’s impressive. We feed a lot of people directly and it’s satisfying. We are serious about what we do and it’s meaningful. We are stewards for 80 acres of land which allows for wide rotations, diverse habitat, buffer zones, riparian and pollinator habitat, and utility areas. 15-20 acres are annually in production, as well as a perennial area for greater sustainability. Help us feed 1200 local families/week. Be part of a team of 15-20 committed farmers who respect other humans and the land- these are people who prioritize and value farming and work with the seasonal flow of a Farm in the Colorado climate. You’ll work in a beautiful “office” aka the St. Vrain Valley surrounded by trees and views of the Rocky Mountains including a brilliant view of Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. This is good hard work!
We are looking for smart, diverse, hard-working individuals to join our team. Aspen Moon Farm is located close to the city of Longmont and Boulder, though our farm has a nice rural setting in the St. Vrain Valley, minutes away from the Rocky Mountain foothills.
We cannot accommodate tobacco/nicotine users on our staff, due to diseases that can be shared between tobacco and certain crop species.
